EVACUATION AND PROTECTION

The war has led to waves of evacuations in the east of the country. The need for evacuation closely follows the evolution of the line of contact while life is sometimes impossible in the former occupied territories. U-Saved therefore set up its own evacuation service at the very beginning of its activities, and also provides financial and material support to groups of volunteers who help people flee the frontline. Thanks to a hotline, U-Saved teams are able to respond quickly and effectively to people’s needs to leave sensitive areas. Evacuation is an essential activity for the protection and safety of people living in conflict zones. It enables them to avoid direct immediate threats to their lives and provides an opportunity for evacuees to find shelter and safety in other regions of the country.
